Geyman started OhioBiz Web Consulting and the OhioBiz search engine in December 2000. As of March 9, 2001, the firm became a Limited Liability Company and operates as OhioBiz Web Consulting, LLC. OhioBiz has come to be known as Ohio's largest search directory of business, organization, community, and education-related web sites.

Mark graduated from Bowling Green State University with a B.A. in Speech Communications, specialized in Radio-TV-Film and minored in Marketing/Sales. He has also taken graduate business courses toward his MBA.

He spent approximately eight years in the cable television industry. In addition, he spent time as a sales consultant in the two-way radio communications field (Cleveland Mobile Radio) and as a researcher for Christian & Timbers, an executive search firm, specializing in the computer industry.

Prior to forming OhioBiz Web Consulting, LLC, for almost 6 years, Mark was responsible for new business development at Netforce Development, Inc., a web development firm he co-founded in May 1995. Geyman has been navigating the Internet for thirteen years. He has been consulting and training businesses about the Internet for ten years. He founded and lead the Greater Cleveland PC Users' Group Internet SIG for 2.5 yrs. For 3.5 years, he was a part-time faculty member at Lakeland Community College and where he taught several Internet and Computer courses. Also, he has taught at an Intro to Computers course at Notre Dame College and Web-based Microsoft FrontPage 2000 courses for the International Webmasters Association/HTML Writers Guild.

As of Labor Day, 1995, he created Geyman's Northern Ohio Directory of World Wide Web Sites which evolved into SitesOnline Ohio, a site with linked to over 10,000 local sites, covering the state of Ohio. The main purpose of that site was to promote Ohio's electronic community (it was a "labor of love" too!)..

Mark is presently VP of the Beaumont School Father's Club, and is serving on the Parish Pastoral Council at St. Gregory the Great Parish in South Euclid, OH. He has served as Chairperson and as a member of the School Advisory Board at St. Gregory the Great School for six years. Also, he has served as a Civil Service Commissioner for the City of South Euclid, Ohio, a member of the John Carroll University Entrepreneurs Association, Northeast Ohio Software Association (NEOSA), and the Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce (HRCC).
