We have upgraded and expanded our scope to
include businesses and organizations in the state of Ohio whether or not
they have a web presence. Over time, we will continue to add business
listings to the directory. OhioBiz.com will offer both FREE and PAID Level
memberships while giving everyone greater control of their listings by
allowing listing owners to login and make modifications themselves.
Of course, OhioBiz.com is an on-going
"work-in-progress" so expect many features to be added along the way. Our
primary mission is to promote the Ohio business community to each other, to
our residents of the State of Ohio, and to the global community. Since the
year 2000, OhioBiz.com has provided a great Ohio Business resource. We want

Customer Rating
This feature allows your customers to rate your business over all. This will
be used as cross reference from the other customers.
This feature can help in building up a virtual community in which users have
confidence and loyalty in using this web site.
Customer Review
This feature allows your customers to write a review of your business. All
reviews are screened through the web site Admin and you will be notified
first if there is a negative review before it goes live on the public side.

Before
Submitting Your Listing

New Registration
Before you submit your listing, you need to first register for an account.
You can use the link "Register" to set up your account. Also, if there is an
existing link which belongs to you/your company, just click on the Claim
Form button, submit that form as well and we will attach Registration
information to the particular Listing you are claiming.

Once you have registered and are approved
you may then login to your account and add your business to our website or
edit an existing link by selecting the type of Membership that you want for
your business listing. ALL type of Listing accounts, whether FREE or PAID
level, need to register in order to update your listing.

1. Free Listing Level - You Update &
Maintain Your Listing

Free Listing enables you to list your company for FREE. These listings DO
NOT expire.

Places your business below the Basic & Premium Listings in the
Category and Search Results.
Listing Title (Company Name), Address, Short & Full Description, Phone, Fax,
Email, Website, Range of number of Employees, Building Square
Footage,

Estimated Annual Revenue, Hours of Operation, SIC Code, and
embedded Google location map of your business location
are displayed.

Favorable additional exposure for your listing in the major search engines
using search engine-friendly URLs.
Entitles your listing to be placed in one category.

2. Basic and Premium (Paid Listing) Levels - You Update &
Maintain Your Listing

Our Basic and Premium Ad Listings put you higher up in the
rankings for listing on the results page of your category. Your listing
title can be listed in increased number of different categories (Please
refer to the Compare Membership chart). This feature can help your company
become more publicity and to expose to more customers. In addition to what
features are offered with our FREE Listing, our Paid Listings also allow you
to include in the listing your:
Deep Links - links which you can point to additional locations within your
website for added exposure (i.e. product pages, blog, etc.);
Company logo - can be uploaded to your page;
Coupons/Special Offers - can be created and customized within your
account or upload one you've already created;
Product Images & Thumbnails;
Documents - Word docs, PDFs, etc.
Favorable additional exposure for your listing in the major search engines
using search engine-friendly URLs.

3. "We Maintain" Your Listing For You Level (Paid Listing)

This level has the same features as the Premium listing the only difference
is OhioBiz.com will assist you in maintaining your listing. For those of you
who don't have the time or the just don't want to deal with keeping your
listing updated, OhioBiz will maintain your content for you including links,
images, documents, etc. This level also puts you at the top ranking in the
results page of your category. Please check out in the 'Compare Listing' for
details of information you can put into your FREE and Paid Listing.

When Creating A New Listing
You will be allowed to select 1 category on the submission of your new
listing.
After your listing is approved you may log into your account and choose your
listing and at the top of the page you will find a category link. You may
click on this and add additional / edit categories for you listing (based
upon your membership level).
Cannot Find Your Categories
Click on the 'Contact Us' link in the top menu and let us know what category
you would like us to add. Remember to include you listing details and email
in the contact link.

Manage
Your Listing

Upload : Logo; Coupons/Special Offers;
Images; Products; Documents
You will be allowed to upload the above (if you have the Basic membership
level or higher Listing).
Logo: You will be allowed to upload your logo when you do your listing.
Coupons/Special Offers, Products, Images and Documents can be uploaded,
after your listing is paid and approved, by logging into your account,
select your listing, click on appropriate link at the top of the page.
Forgotten My Username To Login
If you have forgotten your username, please visit our Password Reminder
link. Input the Email Address you used to register with along with your
Business Information and an e-mail will be sent to you with your Username
and Password.

Renew Listing
When your listing membership is about to expire, you will be sent a
notification e-mail to renew your listing. Simply log in to your account and
click on the listing to be renewed and follow renewal instructions.

PayPal
We accept payment by PayPal. You can select the payment options in the
payment pages after your submission of the listing details.
Your listing will appear on the site as soon as confirmed payment is
received.
