Macedonia is a city in northern Summit County. It has a population of 12,168 as of 2020, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. It is a suburb of the Akron metropolitan area and has the motto "The Crossroads of Northeast Ohio". Some of the places of interest in Macedonia include the Blue Hen Falls, the Brandywine Gorge Trail, the Boston Mills/Brandywine Ski Resort, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
