Founded in March 2001 by Mark Geyman, a proud Bowling Green State University alumnus, OhioBiz LLC (originally OhioBiz Web Consulting, LLC) has established itself as a cornerstone of the Ohio web services industry. Specializing in web hosting, security, WordPress development, and content maintenance, we're dedicated to enhancing the online presence of small businesses, organizations, non-profits/foundations, and municipalities right here in northern Ohio.
Our roots trace back to December 2000 when Geyman launched OhioBiz Web Consulting and the OhioBiz search engine. Officially becoming an LLC in March 2001, OhioBiz has grown into Ohio's largest search directory for business, organization, community, and education-related websites, fostering a digital ecosystem that connects and promotes the local community.
Mark Geyman brings a wealth of experience to OhioBiz LLC, drawing from his background in Speech Communications with a specialization in Radio-TV-Film and a minor in Marketing/Sales from Bowling Green State University. His journey includes pivotal roles in the cable television and two-way radio communications industries, as well as significant contributions to web development and education as a co-founder of Netforce Development, Inc., and as an educator at Lakeland Community College and Notre Dame College.
