It is the fourth most populous county in Ohio, with a population of around 537,309 people. The county seat is Dayton, which is the sixth most populous city in Ohio. The economy of Montgomery County is diverse, with a mix of manufacturing, healthcare, education, and service industries. The county is home to a number of major employers, including Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the Dayton VA Medical Center, and the University of Dayton. The county is home to a number of cultural attractions, including the Dayton Art Institute, the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, and Carillon Historical Park.
