Kevin and I have been married for 17 years. We have made Bellefontaine our
home for 15 years now. He works at Honda. I work at a community behavioral
health care center as the Clinical Director of our Champaign County office.
My specialty is substance abuse counseling--sounds like I should bring my
business cards to our reunions!! No, don't worry, I'll be off the clock so
promise not to diagnose anyone...We have 4
children: Nellie is 25 and teaches second grade at a local school. She was
married in 2005 and we are encouraging her to give us our first
grandchild!!! Ryan is 23 and is changing the world one political opinion at
a time at Ohio University in Athens. Derek is soon to be 20 and is studying
pharmacy law at Ohio Northern University--the "brains" of the family but
also the one who has caused the most gray hairs/sleepless nights!! And
Alyssa just turned 14 and cannot wait to start high school next year. She
began her social life as soon as she could smile and has always known more
people in this region of the state than we do!
Veronica (Macias) Burkhardt, Chris (Lonsway) Wilson
and I continue to see each other frequently. Our families have grown up
together and we've shared many milestones. One of my many blessings is our
lifelong bond and committed friendship that started at St. Wendelin. I don't
know what I would have done without their guidance, advice, and love through

Melissa (Partee) and I still live in the San Diego area. D.J. is married now
with a beautiful little boy Taylor Allen. I work as a Machinist/Supervisor
for an aerospace Co. - Senior Aerospace of England. We manufacture large
engine components for commercial Jet and Military (Joint Strike Fighter) and
payload (Delta Rocket) engines. I've been there for 16 yrs. now. D.J. is a
Journeyman Ironworker building the San Diego skyline. Wish we could have
been there for the 25th reunion but we had a death in the family and
couldn't make it. Great to see all the pictures though. Anyone coming to
Southern Cal can look us up. I'm a great tour guide. |

Married in October, 1999 to David Carter, no children. I've been in Texas
for about 11 years. I spent two years in Houston where Idid a postdoctoral
residency at the University of Texas Medical School and then I came to San
Antonio in 1993. I've been working at Brooks Air Force Base for about four
months now. Prior to that I worked as the director of an infectious disease
reference laboratory here in San Antonio. David and I live about 25 miles
west of San Antonio. David is a superintendent for a commercial contractor.
He was raised in Alaska. We're planning a trip to visit his cabin up there
at the end of the year. It will be my first time to visit. Yes, it will
be in the winter! It will be quite an adventure for me to say the least. |

I will be heading to Japan
for almost a month at the end of June! The KAKE Bridge program at The
University of Findlay invites a small group of faculty and students to spend
time in Japan (mostly with host families). I must admit, my japanese is not
very good, but we are learning more terms and phrases each week.
I am full-time faculty now at UF and enjoy it
immensely.

OK, get a grin. Tomorrow (2/8/07) is my 19th anniversary for sobriety.
Starting in 88, I went to daily AA meetings for almost 2 years, rarely
skipping a day and many, many days attending 2 or even 3 meetings. I still
want a beer(s) most every day. The thirst just doesn't go away. So tell
your kids not to push it as far as I did. It's hell getting back.
Peggy, my wife, is a therapist / counselor / foster parent. She is the
closest thing I've seen to be a Saint. She found me on the internet but
only lived ten minutes away from Blue Rock, where I live.
Blue Rock is 30 minutes south of Zanesville. We have 40 acres just a few
minutes from Blue Rock State Park. I take care of 4 morgan horses, 1
thoroughbred, 2 mules, 1 percheron stallion, 1 jack donkey, several
brasilian mastiffs, 1 german shepherd, 1 jack russel. We are hoping for 2
percheron x morgan babies this Spring. They will be my future pulling
team.
I have plans of using horse power for work and pleasure. I'm going to need
some jingle bells....plus farm equipment. It is a process.
We have been working on a "Group Home" for foster kids. We were licensed
by the State last July and continue to make huge plans concerning our Group
Home and developing this farm.
