Trumbull County is located in northeastern Ohio, bordered by Ashtabula County to the north, Geauga and Portage Counties to the west, Mahoning County to the south, and the state of Pennsylvania to the east. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 201,977. The county seat is Warren. The county has a total area of approximately 502 square miles. The county is home to several small towns and villages, as well as the cities of Cortland, Girard, and Warren. Trumbull County is home to several state and local parks, including the Trumbull County Metro Parks, the Mosquito Creek Wildlife Area, and the John Stark Edwards Park. The county is also home to the Trumbull County District Library and the Trumbull County Fairgrounds.
