Crawford County is located in north central Ohio, bordered by Richland County to the east, Morrow County to the southeast, Marion County to the south, Wyandot County to the west, and Seneca and Huron Counties to the north. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 42,025. The county seat is Bucyrus. The county has a total area of approximately 548 square miles. The county is home to several small towns and villages, including Bucyrus, Galion, Crestline, and New Washington. The county is predominantly rural, with agriculture and manufacturing being the main industries. Crawford County is home to several state and local parks, including the Crawford Park District, Cooper's Mill, and the annual Bratwurst Festival in Bucyrus.
