Delaware County is located in central Ohio, bordered by Marion and Morrow Counties to the north, Knox and Licking County to the east, Franklin County to the south, and Union County to the west. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 214,124. The county seat is Delaware. The county has a total area of approximately 413 square miles. The county is home to several small towns and villages, as well as the city of Delaware. Delaware County is home to several state and local parks, including the Delaware County Park District, the Alum Creek State Park, and the Delaware State Nature Preserve. The county is also home to the Delaware County District Library and the Delaware County Fairgrounds.
