Euclid is a city located on the shore of Lake Erie. It has a population of about 49,000 people, according to the 2020 census.
Euclid has a rich history and culture, dating back to its founding in 1796. It was the site of a landmark U.S. Supreme Court case in 1926, Euclid v. Ambler, which upheld the constitutionality of zoning laws. It is also home to the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame, which celebrates the Slovenian roots of this musical genre. The city is planning to build a new Community Recreation and Wellness Facility, which will offer various amenities and programs for residents of all ages.
