Euclid is a city located on the shore of Lake Erie. It has a population of about 49,000 people, according to the 2020 census.

Euclid has a rich history and culture, dating back to its founding in 1796. It was the site of a landmark U.S. Supreme Court case in 1926, Euclid v. Ambler, which upheld the constitutionality of zoning laws. It is also home to the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame, which celebrates the Slovenian roots of this musical genre. Another cultural attraction in Euclid is the Shore Cultural Centre, which was formerly a high school and now hosts arts and community events in a historic building.

Some of the top employers in Euclid are Lincoln Electric, a manufacturer of welding products; H.C. Starck, a producer of metal powders and alloys; and Euclid Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic health system. Euclid also has several parks and recreational facilities, such as Sims Park, Briardale Greens Golf Course, and the Euclid Creek Reservation. The city is planning to build a new Community Recreation and Wellness Facility, which will offer various amenities and programs for residents of all ages.
