Fulton County is located in northwest Ohio, and is bordered by Lucas County to the east, Williams County to the west, Henry County to the south, and the state of Michigan to the north. It is named after Robert Fulton, the inventor of the steamboat. The county seat is Wauseon. According to the 2020 Census, the county has a population of 42,713 people. The economy of Fulton County is primarily agricultural, with corn, wheat, and soybeans being the major crops. The county is also home to several small manufacturing companies.
