Garfield Heights is a city in Cuyahoga County with a population of approximately 27,700 as of 2020. Some of the places of interest in Garfield Heights include the Garfield Park Reservation, a nature preserve with trails, picnic areas and a waterfall, the Garfield Heights Civic Center, a community hub with a library, a theater and a senior center, and the Garfield Heights Historical Society Museum, which showcases the history and culture of the city. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Garfield Heights had 411 employer firms in 2017, with some of the largest employers being Marymount Hospital, a health care facility that employs over 1,000 people, Chart Industries, a manufacturer of cryogenic equipment that employs over 500 people, and Giant Eagle, a supermarket chain that employs over 400 people.
