Greene County is a dynamic southwestern Ohio county with Xenia as its county seat. The county is dominated by the massive presence of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base — one of the largest and most important air force bases in the United States and the home of the National Museum of the United States Air Force — the world's largest aviation museum, with free admission and over 400 aircraft and missiles on display, drawing nearly 1.2 million visitors annually. Greene County is also home to three major universities: Wright State University, Cedarville University (a prominent Christian university), and Wilberforce University (the oldest private HBCU in the United States, founded 1856). The charming communities of Beavercreek, Fairborn, and Yellow Springs (home of Antioch College and a vibrant arts community) add tremendous diversity.
