Guernsey County is a county located in southeastern Ohio. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 38,438 people. The county seat and the largest city is Cambridge, which is also the home of the Guernsey County Courthouse. The county was named after the Isle of Guernsey in the English Channel, where many of its early settlers came from. Some of the places of interest in Guernsey County are the Salt Fork State Park, the National Museum of Cambridge Glass, and the John and Annie Glenn Museum. The largest employers in the county are Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Colgate-Palmolive Company, and Quanex Building Products Corporation.
