Hamilton is a city with a rich history and culture. It was founded as a fort in 1791 by General Arthur St. Clair to protect the settlers from the Native Americans. It was named after Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of the Treasury. Hamilton became a county seat in 1803 and a city in 1810. It is now the second largest city in the Greater Cincinnati area and the 10th largest city in Ohio. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 63,399 people.

Hamilton is known as the "City of Sculpture" because of its many public art installations and its Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park, which features over 60 sculptures on 300 acres of land. Hamilton also has three National Historic Districts: Dayton Lane, German Village, and Rossville, which showcase the architectural diversity and heritage of the city.

Some of the largest employers in Hamilton are the Hamilton City School District, Fort Hamilton Hospital, ThyssenKrupp Bilstein of America, Barclaycard US, and Community First Solutions. Hamilton also has a vibrant downtown area with many shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Hamilton is a city that celebrates its past and looks forward to its future.
