Henry County is located in northwest Ohio, bordered by Fulton County to the north, Lucas and Wood Counties to the east, Putnam County to the south, and Defiance and Williams Counties to the west. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 27,662. The county seat is Napoleon. The county was named for Patrick Henry, the famous revolutionary patriot. The county has a total area of approximately 358 square miles. The county is home to several small towns and villages, including Deshler, Liberty Center, Hamler, Holgate, and Malinta. The county is predominantly rural, with agriculture and manufacturing being the main industries.
