Medina County is located in northeastern Ohio, bordered by Lorain and Cuyahoga Counties to the north, Summit County to the east, Wayne County to the south, and Ashland and Lorain Counties to the west. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 182,470. The county seat is Medina. The county has a total area of approximately 422 square miles. The county is home to several small towns and villages, including Brunswick, Chippewa Lake, Lodi, Medina, and Wadsworth. The county is predominantly rural, with agriculture and manufacturing being the main industries. Medina County is home to several state and local parks, including the Medina County Park District, the Medina County Nature Center, and the Brunswick Lake Nature Preserve. The county is also home to the Medina County District Library and the Medina County Fairgrounds.
