Upper Sandusky is a city that lies along the upper Sandusky River. It is the county seat of Wyandot County and has a population of 6,698 as of 2020. Upper Sandusky has a rich history as a former Wyandot Indian village and a site of military and political events during the American Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. Some of the places of interest in Upper Sandusky include the Wyandot County Courthouse, which was built in 1899 and features a clock tower and a statue of Lady Justice; the Indian Mill Museum, which showcases the history of milling and agriculture in the area; and the Stepping Stones Park, which offers recreational facilities and a scenic view of the river.
