Washington County is a county located in the southeastern part of the state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census, the population was 59,626. The county seat is Marietta, which is also the largest city in the county. Some of the places of interest in Washington County include the Campus Martius Museum, the Ohio River Museum, the Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park, and the Wayne National Forest.
