West Union is a small village with a population of 3,004 as of 2020. It is the county seat of Adams County and lies about 55 miles southeast of Cincinnati. Some of the places of interest in West Union are the Chaparral Prairie State Nature Preserve, which is home to rare plants and animals, and the Adams Lake State Park, which offers fishing, boating and hiking opportunities.
