Xenia is the county seat of Greene County. It has a population of 25,441 according to the United States Census 2020. The name of the city comes from the Greek word for "hospitality" and it was founded in 1803. Some of the places of interest in Xenia are the Xenia Station, a replica of the original railroad station that was destroyed by a tornado in 1974, the Greene County Courthouse, a historic building that dates back to 1901, and the Xenia Bike Hub, a facility that offers bike rentals, repairs, and information for cyclists.
