Stark County is located in northeastern Ohio, bordered by Summit and Portage Counties to the north, Mahoning and Columbiana Counties to the east, Tuscarawas and Carroll Counties to the south, and Wayne and Holmes Counties to the west. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 374,853. The county seat is Canton. The county has a total area of approximately 564 square miles. The county is home to several small towns and villages, as well as the cities of Alliance, Canton, and Massillon. Stark County is home to several state and local parks, including the Stark County Park District, the F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm, and the Sippo Lake Park. The county is also home to the Stark County District Library and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
