Warren County is located in the southwestern part of Ohio, with its county seat in Lebanon. It is one of the most affluent counties in Ohio, with the highest median income of all 88 counties in the state. It was created in 1803 and is named after Dr. Joseph Warren, a hero of the American Revolution who died at the Battle of Bunker Hill. Warren County is part of the Cincinnati, OH-KY-IN Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Warren County portion of Carlisle is part of the Cincinnati – Middletown, OH-KY-IN Metropolitan Statistical Area, while the Montgomery County portion is part of the Dayton, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area.
